Remember how I wrote about looking for a blazer, and the one I wanted was a Ted Baker blazer for RM1k?
So I continued searching for a blazer – I was looking for a classic cut black blazer that was of good quality and would last me many, many seasons.
Instead, what happened today was I came back with 3 blazers. Ok, they were cheap. I paid RM160 for 3 blazers – one in cream, one in peach and one in white, two of slouchy material and one more slightly more structured.
What am I doing?!
I thought I was doing so well, being on my minimalist spree and not buying stuff (do you know as of Aug 2014 it would have been me succeeding without buying clothes (ok fine, I bought a dress last week) for two months?
Instead, that’s all shot to hell now.
So, for now it’s a restart of the clock. Also, notice how I was looking for a black blazer and instead I come back with 3 in an assortment of ranges.
More control. More control is what I need. And it will take time, but I am determined that I am going to achieve my one year of not buying anything. It doesn’t matter how many false starts I have to go through, but I am going to do it.
Let’s reset the clock, shall we?
